Big Meetings

Our Big Meetings bring together the learning disability community to share information and find out people's views on important issues.

Our next Big Meeting will take place on Tuesday 17th May 2016 from 10am to 12 noon at the Wokingham Methodist Church, Rose Street, Wokingham.

Self Advocate Workshop

Our Self Advocate Workshops are a chance to spend more time looking at what is important to people with learning disabilities. These workshops are for people with learning disabilities and their supporters.

Our next Self Advocate Workshop will take place on Tuesday 21st June from 10am - 12 noon at the Wokingham Methodist Church, Rose Street, Wokingham.

We are working in partnership with Berkshire Women's Aid to run two 10 week relationship courses for people with learning disabilities - one for women and one for men. Click here for more information.

Parenting Special Children are running a sleep workshop on Friday 17th June for professionals working with children and adults with learning disabilities. Click here for more information.

We are currently accepting applications for Learning Disability Development Fund. This is money to support or set up projects that make real differences to the lives of people with learning disabilities in the borough. For more information, click here. The closing date is Monday 30th May.

It's national Learning Disability Week from 20th to 26th June 2016. We're busy making plans to celebrate it in Wokingham so keep an eye out here for further updates.
